More traditional development than suburban sprawl

Let's see more traditional development - walkable neighborhoods with safe, inviting, human-scale streets - rather than continuous sprawl on the outskirts that forces us to consume oil and comes with all of the inherit problems of car-dependency.

Stop historically protecting entire districts

Personally, I think having a 'historic district' does more harm than good. I understand the motivation - you do not want it bulldozed to make way for a strip mall. I agree, I don't want to see downtown Conway or downtown Little Rock flattened and turned into Generic-Suburbia-USATown. Nanotechnology School

UALR recently opened a Nanotechnology Center; however, that facility is not designed to train technicians in nanotechnology. In order to start a cluster of high tech nanotechnology businesses, Central Arkansas needs a nanotechnology school.
