Rubber sidewalks

Many of the sidewalks here are just cement slabs that look like they were put in as an afterthought. In a previous city I lived in, they experimented with many different styles of sidewalks (pavers were most popular). Attract department stores downtown

We need to attract more department stores downtown. From my personal experience, department stores attract a lot of foot traffic. Small businesses don't have the same appeal. Shared Spaces

I imagine Central Arkansas being full of great human-centric towns and cities, with walkable cores and neighborhoods. I imagine these towns and neighborhoods being full of shared spaces.
